Tuesday, July 8, 7pm. ANC2C Public Meeting held by Commissioner Kevin Chapple, "Bringing a Farmers Market to Shaw". Location: Kennedy Recreation Center, 1401 7th St NW. A July ANC2C02 single member district meeting to discuss bringing a farmer's market to Shaw and address neighborhood concerns about pedestrian safety. The PennQuarter and Bloomingdale farmer's markets have been fantastic successes, Shaw deserves no less especially as we await the demolition and reconstruction of the O Street Giant. 7SG is back at the Bloomingdales Farmers Market (1st and R, NW) EVERY Sunday from 10am-2pm. So come visit us and grab a cup of coffee from our friends at Big Bear Cafe.
